We were so glad Aunt Jodie, Uncle Todd, & Harper got to come!

We celebrated Hudson's 5th birthday the Saturday before his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese. This was Hudson's first time to go to Chuck E. Cheese and he had a blast! As most of you know, I am a germ-a-phobe and am not a fan of places like Chuck E. Cheese. Of course the boys have asked to go there since they could talk but I had always told them you had to be 5 to go there because I didn't want to take them. So in the months leading up to his birthday I asked him where he wanted to have his party. And he immediately said, "Chuck E. Cheese! I can go there now because I will be 5!". So that is where we celebrated with him and about 17 of his friends. It really was a great party. Everyone had fun playing games and then we had pizza and Angry Bird cupcakes. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating his 1st birthday.

We spent one day out at the ranch. The boys had a blast! So much dirt to kick, rocks to throw, fences to climb, and sticks to find! They thought they were so big helping Pop drive the buggy. Pop enjoyed showing them around where he grew up. We always have a great time out there as a family.
